Fast & The Furious

My love for this film series is insane. I'm currently watching the 4th movie, this is the only one I haven't watched from beginning to end. (It still isn't, I missed a good 20 minutes cuhz I had to take a shower.)

Dom - His temper is crazy. But what a family man!

Brian - RIP Paul Walker. I hope they found a way to finish the 7th movie with you still in it. They can't not include the parts they already filmed with you.

The Rock - Aha, I don't know his name in the film. I forgot.

All the characters together have created such a world to watch on the big screen!

Anyways, back to the movie...

December 420 Goody Box (2013)

420 Goody Box is a new monthly subscription box that contains five to eight premium-quality items handpicked for those that live the "420 lifestyle". Items in the box include canna-goodies, novelties, munchies and more. 420 Goody Box launched this December and is $19.18/mo + $7.95 shipping.  The shipping was a few dollars less when I bought my gift subscription, and looking at the website now, they've obviously raised it.  Subscriptions are also cheaper if you choose the 3 month plan or the 6 month plan.

I was super excited when I found out about this kind of box, so I immediately jumped on a gift subscription for my boyfriend. Seeing that the shipping went up, I kind of wish I bought the 6 months instead.

But anyways, 420 Goody Box promises to ship out their boxes every 20th of the month. I didn't receive a tracking number, but they publicized on their social media sites that they shipped them out on the 20th. We received the box on the 23rd via UPS. And I thought it was kind of funny that UPS kind of hid it behind the plant at my place. Normally when I get packages, they leave it right in front of the door. 420 Goody Box promises to ship these boxes discreetly, but honestly at first look it's not as discreet as I was hoping it to be. If you do live the "420 lifestyle", I feel like you'd get a vibe from just looking at the box. My boyfriend and I were super excited to tear into this box, so I had to hurry and take pictures so he can play with the stuff. They come with an info card, but I forgot to take a picture of it. It lists all the items and the prices.

Cannabis Now Magazine $8.00
Issue 6, 2013. We both glanced through it, not too exciting. Can't really say much about it.

Lighter $1-$2?
Fun lighter that says "Legalize" with a happy face and leaf on it. It's cute, and it's nice to have a spare lighter as my boyfriend loses them all the time. This wasn't listed on the card, if that matters.

Max Capacity - Digital Scale, Grinder & Stash $40.00
This was the absolute highlight of the box for my boyfriend and made it worth it. I know I could've taken a better picture, but again I was in a hurry. It's in the shape of a can, on the bottom it has a grinder and also holds a round scale inside. Our only issue with this is there isn't really a storage space inside unless you remove the scale. But, the scale did come with batteries already.

Sticker by Famous Artist, Trog  $3.00
Cartoon-ish sticker that looks a lot like the green one-eyed monster from Monsters, Inc.. I'm not sure what my boyfriend did with it.

High Street Keychain $3.00
Fun keychain, no information about it on the card. It's currently hanging around the room because he doesn't have room on his keys for it.

Viking Rechargeable Electronic Vaporizer $17.00
So, I work with vapes, and to be honest this is a very inexpensive one. We didn't care for the clearomizer, but  it's nice to have an extra USB charger. My boyfriend promptly took the battery out of this to use for his backup vape when he's too lazy to recharge the battery for his higher end one.

Chronic Candy $5.00
This candy is advertised for those 18+ only. Some noteable ingredients are hemp and melatonin. My boyfriend tried it and said it tasted like grass, but it put him asleep in record time .

My boyfriend stated that the Max Capacity made this box worth it for him. It was a lot of fun to open, and the products were obviously more for him. The company is still new and are still working on parts of their website. I've been trying to apply as an Affiliate but the link doesn't lead me anywhere. The site is pretty confusing right now as I can't even figure out if I'm logged into my account or not. But, if you're interested in signing up, click here. This link should give you (and myself) $5 in credit for the site.

Birthday Woes

My 23rd birthday is coming up and I'm not the least bit excited. It's suppose to be a fairly warm day and I would have loved to spend it at the beach. But J didn't think ahead to request the day off. Thus he's working and that ruined my ideal plan. I am very upset already...

Graze Box #1 & #2

Graze Box is a healthy subscription snack box from the UK. I have my personal preferences set to receiving a box every 4 weeks (give or take some since they make it very easy to push back a week or move it up).

My boyfriend and I are quite happy with this. And considering it only cost $5 a box, I mean it's great! I'm tempted to change my delivery time to a week or biweekly, but we'll see. Some of these snacks have left me wanting more though!

My first box (which arrived in March, I think) came with Boston Baguettes, Honeycomb Flapjack, Apricot Torte, and Cookies & Cream. The Boston Baguettes was my favorite from this box. My taste buds are a bit mad at me though, because they feel like they're being teased. My boyfriend really enjoyed the Cookies and Cream and just adored the mixture of all the different things in there. I also learned from this that my boyfriend enjoys seeds and nuts, and I am surprised considering he can be so picky at times.

My second box came a couple days ago and it included Garden of England, Bonnie Wee Oatbakes, Toffee Apple and Herby Bread Basket. So far I am in LOVE with Garden of England, and my favorite part about it are the strawberries. I want more. The caramel with the Toffee Apple was way too sweet for me. And the onion marmalade with the Oatbakes, I didn't hate it, but I don't love it either.

So far, I am very impressed with Graze. They're still working out their delivery kinks, but I was able to contact their customer service and I am a very happy customer.

Also, I think I do have an invite code from my first box to share but I just need to find it first...

Goodies Co. March 2013

I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of my first ever Goodies Co box. My estimated arrival date was April 2/3 but it arrived on March 30! Thank goodness. So, I’m not too upset about that.

Goodies, Co is a monthly food subscription box for $7/month.
This month's theme is "Rise and Shine" and its focus is on breakfast foods:
Front of card.
Back of card, along with all the products.
The box
I wish they would learn to use the most out of the box, I'm not particularly fond of not seeing boxes looking less than half full.

Rip van Wafles Stroopwafles, 1.02 oz- $1.33 ($7.98/pack of 6)
My boyfriend liked this a lot more than I did, considering I'm not too fond of caramel. However, we didn't eat it as suggested like over a hot drink.

Ola! Handbaked Granola in No Nut Vanilla, 1 oz - $0.67 ($5.99/9 oz bag)
I thought this was a little too plain for my taste. But if I was starving, I would devour this in seconds.

Rickland Orchards Greek Yogurt Coated Granola Bar in Blueberry Acai, 1.41 oz - $1.30 ($6.49/pack of 5)
My boyfriend adored this, absolutely adored. I thought it was just okay.

BelVita Cinnamon Brown Sugar Breakfast Biscuits, 4 breakfast biscuits - $0.80 ($3.99/pack of 5)
I think my sweet tooth is just difficult to please, these were also a bit bland for me. But again, my boyfriend adore this too.

Bonne Maman Strawberry Preserves 1 oz - $0.38($4.99/13 oz jar)
I am giving this to my parents since I'm not a toast and jam kind of person.

Erin Baker’s Breakfast Cookie in Double Chocolate Chunk, 1 oz - $0.43 ($7.80/6 – 3 oz cookies)
This is perhaps what I liked most out of the box, but the chocolate-y-ness was downplayed a lot.

Jovan’s All Natural Instant Breakfast in Creamy Vanilla, 1.06 oz - $1.60 ($7.99/pack of 5)
I'll find time to make this and eat it eventually. But probably not anytime soon.

Nabisco Newton’s Triple Berry, 2 fruit chewy cookies - $0.75 ($4.49/pack of 6)
I've had this brand before and I am almost positive I've had a similar flavor. They're delicious.

Honestly, I was initially a bit disappointed as I looked at spoilers and realized I didn’t get the drink like many other subscribers have gotten. And from a little digging, isn't the waffle from an earlier box from last year?
I like basic math, so I totaled up the value according to the sizes, and it equals to $7.26, but I was hoping to get more value than what I paid. I may keep this for another month or two to see where it goes. At least they win in showing me different products I haven't heard of before, aside from the Newton's. My boyfriend however, he enjoyed the food in here a LOT more than I did.

Progress

101 hours of community service completed. 99 more to be accomplished by April. I'm trying, it's hard. & I am exhausted.

Around 40 hour work weeks, 5 online classes, girlfriend stuff and community service has me pooped. I've been failing at getting to work on time. I blame my exhausting schedule.

I've been on a crazy sugar binge since I've been so exhausted. On a good note, two classes end this week. I might not be able to do my 5 page paper by the deadline tonight, but I do have until Friday to complete it.

I'm also lagging on laundry. But for one, it is kind of unfair that I am the only one doing it. Ahem, boyfriend, ahem. But unfortunately like many males, they refuse to do laundry as it is "women's work". I'm probably going to chew off a head later today, on that note.

Alright, enough procrastinating. Later gators.

February 14, 2013

My boyfriend surprised me with a bouquet of red roses this year. And this is actually the second time throughout our almost 2 and a half year relationship that he got me flowers. I am very pleased. But the flower shop ripped him off. He paid for 12 but there's also 10 in here. Oh well. I am still happy.
